Blackhamsley Bowl - Captains Past & Present Rules

The annual Club Captains Past & Present Tournament will take place this year on Thursday 4th July.
The format is 30 holes Foursome Stableford (18 holes AM followed by 12 holes PM).
Handicap allowance is 50% of the combined playing handicaps. Yellow tees.

MORNING ROUND: 3 TEE START FROM 08:45
AFTERNOON ROUND: TWO TEE START FROM 13:30

Entries are limited and will be on a strictly ‘first come first served’ basis. Players must have a handicap index of 22.5 or less on the date of the competition (higher handicaps may enter but must play off a handicap index of 22.5 for the competition). If the minimum entry requirement for the field is not met, BMGC members will be considered.

Closing date: 6th June - Start times will be circulated on 24th June.

Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd all day and best morning and afternoon round (Subject to a full entry). The Winners will have their names engraved on the Blackhamsley Bowl, which is retained by the Club, they will each receive an etched tumbler as a memento of the day. No pair may take more than one prize.

The cost for the day will be £90 per pair which includes morning coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, light lunch and dinner.
