Competitor’s Reception

Coffee and bacon roll are provided on arrival from 08.15hrs. Registration will open at 08.30hrs. All handicaps will have been updated and checked with the England Golf World Handicapping System. The door entry code for the day will be provided at registration.

 

Competition Format

18 Hole individual stableford. Played in groups of 2s and 3s. Maximum handicap index limit of 22.5 (maximum playing handicap of 24 off yellow tees). 3 Tee start from 09.30hrs off the 1st, 7th and 13th tees. Please return completed scorecards to the pro shop after play.

 

Handicap Updates

Away scores will be uploaded overnight to each player’s home club via the England Golf World Handicapping System.

 

Lunch

A two-course lunch is provided to competitors on a rolling basis from 1.45pm.

 Prize presentation

Due to the uncertainty on the expected guidelines for gatherings inside after 21st June, we have taken the decision to not have a prize presentation in the Clubhouse after play this year. Results will be published to all players online and prize winners will be sent their prize vouchers by post. Dress code in the clubhouse is smart casual.

Changing room facilities - subject to government guidelines from 21st June.

No competitor may take more than one prize.

COVID-19 Guidelines

The First Tee and On the Course

  • Arrive at the 1st tee no more than 5 minutes prior to your reserved tee time.
  • Social distancing MUST be observed throughout, particularly on tees and greens.
  • Bunker rakes have been removed; players are to smooth sand with feet after their shot.
  • Flagsticks to remain in the hole and must not be touched.
  • Hole cups are modified for simple, contact-free ball retrieval.
  • Equipment, food, and drink must not be exchanged between players and any rubbish must be taken home or placed in the bins provided.
  • Players must not pick up another player’s equipment or golf ball.
  • Players must refrain from physical contact at all times.

The Clubhouse and Terrace

  • A face covering must be worn until you are seated to consume food and drink.
  • Please sanitise your hands at the nearest sanitising station.
  • The chairs and tables have been set to allow social distancing.
  • Please do not move them to form larger groups.
  • You will be directed to your table by a member of staff.
  • Please move on promptly once you have finished your meal or advised by a member of staff.

Players must call the golf club to report any case of suspected Covid-19 at the earliest possible opportunity.

These guidelines are issued for your safety whilst we manage the Covid-19 Pandemic and are essential to enable the course to be open for play.
